Biographical Information

Harmen Sidhu pitched in the minors then became a college coach.

He won the Tino Martinez Award as the top player in NCAA Division II as a senior, setting California Collegiate Athletic Association records for single-season (0.98) and career (1.56) ERA, going 10-1 as a senior with 93 K in 82 2/3 IP. The Tampa Bay Rays took him in the 20th round of the 2013 amateur draft; the scout was Brian Morrison. He was 0-2 with a save and a 9.00 ERA in six games for the '13 Hudson Valley Renegades.

Sidhu was assistant coach at Holy Names University in 2019 and the University of California in 2020. By 2024, he was head coach of Los Medanos College.
