Biographical Information[edit]
Harmen Sidhu pitched in the minors then became a college coach.
He won the Tino Martinez Award as the top player in NCAA Division II as a senior, setting California Collegiate Athletic Association records for single-season (0.98) and career (1.56) ERA, going 10-1 as a senior with 93 K in 82 2/3 IP. [1] The Tampa Bay Rays took him in the 20th round of the 2013 amateur draft; the scout was Brian Morrison. [2] He was 0-2 with a save and a 9.00 ERA in six games for the '13 Hudson Valley Renegades.
Sidhu was assistant coach at Holy Names University in 2019 and the University of California in 2020. [3] By 2024, he was head coach of Los Medanos College.
