Biographical Information

Hans Benno Pereira was on the Singapore national team in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games. In the 2023 East Asian Baseball Cup, he allowed 7 runs (3 earned) in 7 innings, fanning eight but walking nine. He next appeared in the 2023 Asian Games. In his lone outing, he did not fare well. Relieving Ryota Wong in the 7th with a 6-0 deficit against Thailand, one out and the bases loaded, he walked Yodsaphan Sae Wa on four pitches to force in a run. Four more balls later, Sitthichok Aunmueang walked to force in another. He hit Kittipong Thonglor to make it 9-0. A single by Jake Jie Ren Chaisongkram put it at 11-0, then he turned the ball over to Edward Yi Chen Chuang, who also failed to retire a batter, leaving Pereira with four runs in zero innings.
