Hank Sargent has been a scout and agent.

Sargent played on the Florida Southern team that won the 1985 NCAA Division II Baseball Championship. He was assistant coach there from 1986-1991, during which they won another Division II title (1988). He scouted for the Montréal Expos (1992-1996) and Cincinnati Reds (1996-1998?), winning Expos Scout of the Year in 1995. He was an agent in 1999-2000 then was a crosschecker for the Anaheim Angels until 2003, signing Jeff Mathis. He then returned to being an agent. His clients have included Rocco Baldelli.
