Halifax and District Baseball League

From BR Bullpen

The Halifax and District Baseball League was a semi-pro league that operated following World War II in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia. All the teams were located in the western half of the province. The league was a mix of local talent and imported American college players, making it a cross between a summer collegiate league and a semi-pro league (such as the Intercounty Baseball League in Ontario.

The league operated as an eight team circuit for most of its history, but by 1957 only Dartmouth, Kentville, Stellarton and Truro remained.
