Biographical Information[edit]
Hal Kelleher pitched four seasons for the Philadelphia Phillies in the 1930's.
He had a bit of trouble with wildness, leading the league in hit batsmen in 1937, and giving up 81 walks during his major league career of 134.7 innings.
He is one of five major leaguers through 2008 with the last name Kelleher, including Duke Kelleher, Frankie Kelleher, John Kelleher and Mick Kelleher.
He is not listed as playing minor league ball from 1940-43, but came back in 1944 to go 12-7 for Trenton.
