Biographical Information[edit]
Frankie Kelleher was the toast of Hollywood during its golden age, as a star for 10 years with the Hollywood Stars when that club was among the best teams during the Pacific Coast League's heyday. Kelleher hit .283 with 358 homers and 1,360 RBIs in 2,011 minor league games during his career. When Kelleher played his last game before retirement, it is said, Jayne Mansfield cried in her seat behind the dugout.
In 2004 he was elected to the Pacific Coast League Hall of Fame.
