Biographical Information[edit]
Héctor Martínez has played for the Salvadoran national team.
His three games pitched for El Salvador in the 2017 Bolivarian Games tied Felix Rodas for the team lead. His 8 1/3 IP led the staff, 1/3 ahead of William Ponce and Marcelo Parker, while his 1.08 ERA led their qualifiers. He fanned three, tying Parker for second on the staff (two behind Ponce). [1] In the 2017 Central American Games, he made one brief appearance against Panama, relieving Jairo Aparicio in the 8th. He allowed a hit and a walk while striking out one. El Salvador won a Bronze Medal. [2]
