Biographical Information[edit]
Gyu-min Kim was on the South Korean national team in the 2019 Asian Championship. He debuted against China, replacing Jin-su Jeong at catcher. He drew a walk from Quan Gan his first time up. He hit .235/.435/.294 with 3 runs, 5 RBI and 6 walks in 6 games, mostly in the outfield. The statistical leaders for the event seem to skip some games as they show him tying Tae-seung Choe for the most walks with 5. [1]
