Biographical Information

Jin-su Jeong has played for the South Korean national team.

Jeong represented South Korea in the 2019 Asian Championship. He was 0-for-2 against China, and he drew a walk against Pakistan. Jeong then went 1-for-4 with a RBI double against the Philippines, and he was 1-for-1 as the backup catcher to Hyeon-woo Kang against Chinese Taipei. He went 0-for-3 against Japan, and he didn't appear in the Bronze Medal Game as Korea lost to China. The Samsung Lions took him in the 7th round of the 2020 KBO draft, and he didn't play any games with the big club in his four-year career with the Lions. He was released after the 2024 season.
