Biographical Information[edit]

Guilder Rodriguez had played over 1,000 minor league games in the Milwaukee Brewers (2002-2008) and Texas Rangers (2009-2015) organizations and was 31 years old before he made his major league debut on September 9, 2014. He appeared in seven MLB games that season. He is the brother of Guillermo Rodriguez.

Rodriguez became a coach with the DSL Rangers 1 in 2016 and AZL Rangers in 2017-2019. He was scheduled to return to the AZL in 2020 before COVID-19 shut down the minor league season. When play resumed in 2021 he coached the ACL Rangers. Rodriguez moved up a level in 2022 as a development coach for the Down East Wood Ducks. He returned to the ACL Rangers in 2023 as their manager and remained there in 2024.
