Biographical Information

Pitcher Greg Mahle moved through the minors quickly, despite not being a top-level draft pick. The Los Angeles Angels took him in the 15th round of the 2014 amateur draft and, after posting a 2.65 ERA and a 11.8 K/9 IP ratio in 37 1/3 frames his first year and a 3.26 mark with a 10.4 K rate in 2015, he reached the majors in early 2016. In his first appearance, against the Oakland Athletics on April 13th, he tossed one perfect inning and struck out a batter - Billy Butler.

He is the brother of Tyler Mahle.
