Team History[edit]
The Greeneville Reds joined the Appalachian League in 2018 replacing the Greeneville Astros. The Cincinnati Reds stepped in to replace the Houston Astros, who ended their affiliation with Greeneville and left the Appy League. In 2021 when the Appalachian League was reorganized into a summer collegiate loop the team was renamed the Greeneville Flyboys. [1]
