Wright led the WL in doubles (54) and runs (217), tied for second in average, was approximately second in OBP and third with 233 hits. Outscored 1,398-1,382 (an average of 11.1-11.0), Grand Rapids led the league in both runs and runs allowed. Billy Rhines (24-22, 5.63) was clearly the staff ace.
