Graham Ward of Western Australia played for the Australian national team.
Ward was with Australia for the 1978 Amateur World Series, their Amateur World Series debut. He hit .378/.378/.541 with 3 runs and 2 RBI in 9 games, fielding .917 as their most-used shortstop and also seeing some time at DH. He led Australia in hits and total bases (4 ahead of Geoffrey Martin). He tied Terry Francona, Jae-bak Kim and Mitsugu Kobayashi for 5th in the Series in hits. [1]
He won Bronze with Australia in the 1981 World Games. [2] He was also with Australia for the 1981 Intercontinental Cup. [3]
