Biographical Information[edit]
Gorka Andueza was with the Spanish national team a couple times. In the 1998 Baseball World Cup, he was 0 for 6 with a run and hit-by-pitch. Backing up Andoni Rodriguez at catcher, he had 5 passed balls in 18 innings and allowed 3 steals in 3 tries. He was on Spain's roster for the 2001 European Championship but did not play; Roberto Ederra and Miguel Mora did the catching. Andueza's last season in Spain's Division Honor was in 2008, when he hit .205/.262/.244 for Beisbol Navarra.
