Biographical Information[edit]
After his playing career ended, Gordon Maltzberger was a Minnesota Twins coach from 1962 to 1964 and a Chicago White Sox scout from 1966 to 1969. Before that, he had been a minor league pitching coach and manager for the Milwaukee Braves.
Maltzberger entered the Army in February 1945.
Maltzberger pitched for a semi-pro team called the San Bernardino Acme Brews in 1932 and 1936, and possibly other years.
