Gold Coast Dolphins
The Gold Coast Dolphins played one season in the Australian Baseball League. They had been known previously as the Daikyo Dolphins and would become the East Coast Cougars. The Gold Coast Dolphins were 19-26 to finish 6th in the 1992-1993 ABL. They were managed by Adrian Meagher, who also tied for the league lead with nine wins, almost half the team total. Duane Singleton made the league All-Star team in the outfield and was third in steals (18), while Bill Cutshall was among the leaders in average (.343) and OBP (.448), Peter Hartas led in steals (21) and Mike Harris was among the leaders in average (.362, 3rd), OBP (.424, 4th), runs (33, 4th), steals (17, 4th) and hits (54, tied for 3rd).
