Biographical Information

Gen Okuda played in the Nippon Pro Baseball for 3 years.

Okuda was signed by the Mainichi Orions in 1950, and he hit .280/.330/.344 with 13 steals that season. He had a .200/.255/.293 batting line in 64 games in 1951, then he went to the Kintetsu Buffaloes. Okuda hit .205/.261/.250 in 1952, then he announced his retirement.

Overall, Okuda hit .218/.273/.283 with 102 hits and 2 homers in 3 seasons in the NPB.
