Biographical Information

Outfielder/pitcher Gabriel Rodriguez played in the Cleveland Indians system from 1973 to 1974 and in the Cincinnati Reds chain in 1975. He hit .233/.340/.314 with no home runs, 14 RBI and 5 stolen bases in 25 games for the GCL Indians in 1973, then hit .182/.308/.182 in 11 at-bats for them in 1974. He spent time on the mound that year, as well, going 0-5 with a 5.54 ERA in 8 games (4 starts) and posting a WHIP of 1.718. With the Eugene Emeralds in 1975, he hit .170/.262/.226 in 53 at-bats.

Overall, he batted .207/.310/.273 with no home runs, 22 RBI, 7 stolen bases and 21 runs scored in 68 games over 3 seasons.
