Biographical Information

Fumio Katayama had a brief career in the CPBL.

Katayama was drafted by the Yakult Swallows in the 6th round of the 2002 NPB draft, but he didn't appear with the big club until the Swallows released him in 2005. He then signed with the Sinon Bulls of Taiwan, but his ERA was 8.71 in 9 games, and his professional career ended.
