Biographical Information

Infielder Fukuyoshi Okada hit .196/.276/.233 as a regular for the Eagles in 1940. After two years off, he batted .189/.291/.224 for Yamato in '43 to finish his career at .194/.282/.230. After joining the military, he was killed in combat in New Guinea a year later.
