Biographical Information[edit]
Frank Wayenberg played nine seasons in the minors and came to the big leagues for two games in 1924 with the Cleveland Indians. In his first major league game, he pitched two innings against the New York Yankees with Babe Ruth in the lineup. His second game was against the Chicago White Sox with Eddie Collins in the lineup, and he pitched 4 2/3 innings.
Frank had significant success with the Saginaw Aces in 1922-1924, going 45-23. He later spent parts of three seasons with the Wilkes-Barre Barons, winning 24 games in the first two of those seasons.
