Biographical Information[edit]
Frank Foutz was Dave Foutz's brother, although he was born twenty years later. He played first base for John McGraw's Baltimore Orioles in 1901 in the inaugural year of the American League. By that time, Dave had died; because of the age difference, and because Frank lived a long life, Frank outlived Dave by 65 years. In spite of that, his obituary says that Frank was survived by two brothers and a sister.
The obituary also says his professional baseball career ended in 1917 and that he was later a railroad conductor.
