Biographical Information

Frank Eufemia had only one season in the majors, but he was pretty busy that year, pitching in 39 games and finishing 21 for the Minnesota Twins in 1985. He had a record of 4-2 with 2 saves and an ERA of 3.79 in a year when the American League overall ERA was 4.15. The biggest name on the Twins that year was Kirby Puckett, who had his lowest major league batting average, .288, that season.

Frank assumed his professional baseball career was over in 1991 after being released by the New York Mets during spring training. However, he was re-signed by the Mets when their AAA affiliate the Tidewater Tides had its pitching staff depleted because of injuries and call-ups in late 1992. He had been playing in an amateur league in New Jersey.

He has been an assistant coach at Montclair State University and Don Bosco Prep High School and been the pitching coach of the New Jersey Jackals.

He is in the Ramapo College of New Jersey Hall of Fame. He and Mark Leiter are the only major league ballplayers to come out of Ramapo.
