Biographical Information[edit]
Frank Beer pitched three seasons in the Bundesliga-1 and was on the German national team.
Beer was 9-3 with a 5.53 ERA for the 1997 Regensburg Legionäre. He was 4th in the southern Bundesliga-1 in ERA, 5th in K (62), tied Stefan Fechtig for 3rd in wins, 4th in IP (68 1/3), tied for 6th in walks (36) and 5th in WHIP. [1] In the 1997 European Championship, he allowed four runs in one inning. [2] In '98, he was 7-3 with a 5.75 ERA; he was 6th in ERA, tied for 5th in victories, tied for 8th in IP (72) and 7th in WHIP. [3] He was 1-0 with no runs in six innings in 1999, his last appearance in the Bundesliga-1. [4]
