Biographical Information[edit]

Second baseman Forrest Wall was the 35th overall pick in the 2015 amateur draft, having been taken by the Colorado Rockies as a competitive balance pick in the supplemental first round.

He began his professional career by hitting .318/.416/.490 with three home runs, 24 RBI and 18 stolen bases in 41 games for the Grand Junction Rockies. He was a Baseball America Rookie All-Star and a MiLB.com Organization All-Star. Going into 2015, BA ranked him the #7 prospect in the Rockies system. He batted .286/.366/.439 with seven home runs, 47 RBI, 10 triples and 25 stolen bases in 103 games between the Boise Hawks and Asheville Tourists. He was again named a MiLB.com Organization All-Star. Going into 2016, BA ranked him the #6 prospect in the Rockies system and the #90 prospect in the minor leagues. He began the season with the Modesto Nuts.

It took him until 2023 to make his major league debut, which came as a pinch-runner for the Atlanta Braves in the 9th inning of a a 4-3 loss against the Milwaukee Brewers on July 22nd. By then, he was in his fourth organization, having also played for the Toronto Blue Jays and the Seattle Mariners in the minors, and had become a full-time outfielder.
