Florian Götze has played in the Bundesliga.

Götze debuted in the Bundesliga-1 with the 2007 Solingen Alligators, going 2 for 6 with a walk. In 2008, he hit .270/.375/.324 and fielded .926 at 2B, splitting time with Dominik Wulf. He went 2 for 16 in the playoffs. Moving to center field in 2009, he batted .250/.365/.375, stole 10 bases in 12 tries and scored 24 runs in as many games. He went 3 for 9 with two doubles, three walks and two steals in the playoffs. For the regular season, he was 8th in the northern Bundesliga-1 in runs, tied for 6th in strikeouts (21) and 6th in steals. In the 2009 European Junior Championship, he was 2 for 16 with 3 walks, a double, 2 runs and 2 RBI for Germany.

Florian hit .230/.408/.365 for the 2010 Alligators and scored 25 runs in 28 games, tying for 7th in the league in runs. He was 6 for 17 with a double, homer and walk in the playoffs. In '11, he hit .290/.437/.387 with 24 walks and 31 runs in 24 games, while stealing 14 bases in 19 tries. He tied Dustin Hughes for 6th in the league in walks and tied for 7th in steals. He was 1 for 10 with a double, RBI and six whiffs for Germany in the 2011 World Port Tournament.

The 20-year-old produced at a .330/.417/.541 clip in 2012 with 34 runs in 28 games. He finished third in runs, two behind former minor leaguer Bradley Roper-Hubbert.
