Fleming Field

From BR Bullpen

Fleming Field was a makeshift ballpark in Yonkers, NY used by the Yonkers Hoot Owls during their only season of existence in the Northeast League in 1995. It was located in a public park of the same name in a residential neighborhood. It had an all-dirt infield, no running water, and no proper dugouts (players would sit on benches behind a chain-link fence, little league style) or changing rooms. There was no parking either, the nearest being two and half miles away, accessible by shuttle, so that even if the concrete grandstand could seat around 1,000 fans, the average attendance game day was around 150.
