Neither are any of the 'low resolution scans' of any of the hundreds players from the 1930s and 40s that have that on them which I didnt add. This image is from wikipedia and is listed as public domain due to something with the license apparently which is why I specifically chose it. 𝕮𝖔𝖉𝖞 (talk) 22:12, 5 October 2024 (UTC)

You're right. We have lots of images of questionable copyright. I fear it comes back to haunt us in the future. Jeff (talk) 23:04, 5 October 2024 (UTC)

The exact description of what it says on Wikipedia for this image in particular: "This work is in the public domain because it was published in the United States between 1929 and 1963, and although there may or may not have been a copyright notice, the copyright was not renewed."
