Biographical Information[edit]

Catcher Fernando Lunar reached the majors with the Atlanta Braves in 2000 before being traded to the Baltimore Orioles in the middle of that season. He was in the majors all of 2001 as a backup to Brook Fordyce. After another cup of coffee with the O's in 2002, he spent time in the farm systems of the Texas Rangers, Kansas City Royals, Chicago Cubs, Cleveland Indians, and New York Mets.

In 2005 and 2006, he played for the Somerset Patriots of the independent Atlantic League. In 2007, Lunar returned to the Braves organization with the AA Mississippi Braves.
