Biographical Information[edit]
Fernando Barradas was 1-1 with a 1.76 ERA in the 1930 Central American Games to help Mexico win the Silver Medal. He lost his first game, against Gold Medal-winning Cuba and Narciso Picazo, then relieved in a loss to Panama but then won a 2-1 game over Cuba and Manuel Domínguez. It was the first time Mexico beat Cuba in an international tournament. He was elected into the Salon de la Fama in 1939.
