Biographical Information

Erv Huether coached college baseball for over 30 years.

Huether played on the Yankton football team in 1942. He was the basketball coach at Bowdoin College in 1946-1947, then coached freshman football at Bates College from 1947 until resigning in July 1949.

Huether coach the baseball team at South Dakota State University from 1950 to 1983, with a 356-372-2 record. He also coached freshman football at the beginning of his tenure.
