Biographical Information[edit]
Eric Valenzuela has been a college coach.
Valenzuela was on the ASU team that went to the 1998 College World Series and was Pepperdine's captain in 2001. He was assistant coach at St. Mary's College of California (2002-2003), the University of San Diego (2004-2009) and San Diego State University (2010-2013). For the 2014 season, he returned to St. Mary's as head coach and remained there through 2019. After four straight 30-win seasons at St. Mary's, he was hired as head coach of Long Beach State University. After going 100-69 in four seasons there, he returned to St. Mary's.
