Biographical Information[edit]
Eric Lahetta coached college baseball for over a decade.
Lahetta played baseball and football at Ohio Wesleyan. He continued his baseball career at Bowling Green State.
Lahetta then was assistant coach at Bowling Green and worked in the Canton-Akron Indians front office. He was pitching coach for Oberlin College from 1995-1997 then became head coach at Oberlin. He won 143 games from 1998-2010, second-most in school history after Guy Throner. On April 6, 2008, he guided Oberlin to an upset of the College of Wooster, then ranked #2 in the nation. In July 2010, Lahetta became assistant athletic director of intercollegiate sports for Oberlin, while also serving as an assistant coach.
Lahetta became Athletic Director at Bryant & Stratton College in January 2020, then added head baseball coach duties in September of the same year.
