Biographical Information[edit]
Berger missed the 2007 college season due to Tommy John surgery, but was drafted by the Oakland A's in the 9th round of the 2007 amateur draft. He returned to college and was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 8th round of the 2008 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Cesar Geronimo and began his pro career that summer.
