Biographical Information[edit]
Enrique Brito played one season in the minors before becoming a coach and manager.
Brito was 2 for 12 with 5 walks and a time hit by pitch in 5 games for the 1979 Elizabethton Twins; at second base, he made one error in 9 tries. Brito was a scout or coach in the Twins farm chain from 1981-1999. He signed German Gonzalez, Rich Garcés and Eduardo Sánchez for the Twins. Enrique was the Latin American supervisor for the St. Louis Cardinals from 2000-2006. In 2007, he became manager of the GCL Cardinals.
Brito has also worked as director of player development for the Tigres de Aragua, helping them acquire Miguel Cabrera among others.
