Emma Carr has played for the Canadian women's national team.
Carr doubled off Taiwan's Yu-Yin Hsieh in her lone at-bat in the 2014 Women's Baseball World Cup. She also had a walk, run and caught stealing in the tournament. [1] Her next appearance for Canada was in the 2018 Women's Baseball World Cup, she was mostly a defensive sub in the outfield. She started on the hill against the Dominican Republic, allowing one run in five innings to beat Marlenny Quero; the run came when Melissa Rodriguez drove in Yanela Gomez. She was 2 for 4 at the plate; in the Bronze Medal Game, she struck out against Stacy Piagno her lone at-bat but Canada beat Team USA. [2] She played softball in college. [3]
