Biographical Information[edit]

Ela Day-Bédard debuted for Canada in the 2023-2024 Women's Baseball World Cup. Her first game, she started at second base and hit 5th in the opener against Mexico. She was retired by Rosa del Castillo her first time up. Her first hit was a RBI single off Hong Kong's Shee-In Choi. In group play, she hit .300/.467/.300 with 2 runs and 3 RBI in 5 games, fielding .833. She tied for 5th in the group with two HBP. [1]
