Edwin Adon had a 1-0, 5.59 record for the Dominican team in the 2018 U-23 Baseball World Cup, beating South Korea and struggling in a no-decision against the Czech Republic. He tied for 9th in the Cup with 12 K. [1] He helped them win the 2019 Caribbean Baseball Cup, beating Peru. [2] He pitched for the Dominican national team that won Gold in the 2022 Bolivarian Games. He made one appearance, versus Silver Medal winner and host Colombia. He relieved Rafael García in the third with two outs and allowed one run in 4 1/3 IP, allowing two hits and two walks while fanning four. Mario Garmán closed it out and got the win. [3]
