Biographical Information[edit]
Eduardo Pérez was an infielder on the Venezuelan national team that won the 1944 Amateur World Series. [1] He was also with them when they won the 1945 Amateur World Series. [2] When the Venezuelan League formed in 1946, he was 1 for 4 for Cervecería Caracas. In 1946-1947, he hit .146/?/.171 for them.
He moved to the Patriotas de Venezuela in 1947-1948 and batted .252 with a .267 slugging percentage. He hit .289/?/.316 in 1948-1949 and .172 (all singles) in 58 at-bats for the same club in 1950-1951. He had hit .232/?/.248 in 102 LVBP games. [3]
