Eden is located in northern North Carolina on the Dan River, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It lies 5 miles south of the Virginia border and 25 miles north of Greensboro, NC. It was formed in 1967 by the consolidation of the three neighboring small cities of Draper, NC, Leaksville, NC and Spray, NC into a single municipality.
