Biographical Information[edit]
Infielder Steve Shemo appeared in 35 games for the wartime Boston Braves. In 1944 he also hit .316 for the Hartford Laurels - team which went 99-38.
Shemo played at least nine seasons in the minors, including three years for the Mayodan Millers.
