Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Cecil "Zip" Payne played in the minor leagues from 1929 to 1949, collecting 2,179 hits, 457 2B, 102 HR, and 60 SB to go with a .334 average. He was out of O.B. in 1932-1933 and 1943, and spent 1934 to 1942 in the Bi-State League.
