Edward Orrizzi

Biographical Information[edit]

Eddy Orrizzi was a star catcher for many years in Italy's Serie A1. He was on the Italian national team in the 1974 Amateur World Series, 1975 Intercontinental Cup, 1977 European Championship (Gold), 1978 Amateur World Series, 1979 European Championship (Gold), 1982 Amateur World Series (All-Star 1B) and 1983 European Championship (Gold). He later worked with helping people in Mozambique. He was inducted into the Italian Baseball Hall of Fame in 2019.
