Biographical Information[edit]

Eddie Tiemeyer was in nine games as a major leaguer, including one as a pitcher when he pitched a scoreless inning. He came from the amateur ranks (see page on Jack Schulte).

Tiemeyer, who was born and died in Cincinnati, OH, came up with the 1906 Cincinnati Reds at age 21 and also was with them for one game in 1907. In 1909 he came back to the majors with the New York Highlanders, hitting .375 and backing up Hal Chase at first base.

Tiemeyer also played a variety of positions in the minors.
