Biographical Information[edit]

The brother of Paul Lindblad, Eddie Lindblad was 13-6 in three years in the minors. Eddie was drafted in the sixth round of the 1966 amateur draft by the New York Mets and debuted that year with the Marion Mets. Eddie had a 10-4, 3.45 record. He was second in the Appalachian League in ERA and led in both wins and complete games (6 in 10 starts). He walked 16 in 73 innings, showing good control. With the 1967 Winter Haven Mets, Lindblad went 3-1 with a 4.38 ERA. He only struck out 9 batters in 39 innings of work. He spent his final year, 1968, with the Raleigh-Durham Mets, allowing one run in one inning and taking a loss.

As of early 2006, Lindblad was living in Leavenworth, Kansas.
