Biographical Information[edit]
Edison "Eddie" Hunter played three innings at third base for the Cincinnati Reds in 1933 but didn't get a plate appearance. He was 28 at the time. Also playing in Eddie's game were teammates Chick Hafey and Jim Bottomley.
Through 2019, only two big league players have been born in Bellevue, KY, and both are named Ed - Eddie Hunter and Ed Kennedy.
Eddie also played in the minors for several years, in the Mississippi Valley League.
