Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Dylan Owen was selected by the New York Mets in the 20th round of the 2007 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Marlin McPhail and made his pro debut that summer with the Brooklyn Cyclones, going 9-1 with a 1.49 ERA in 14 outings. The following year, with the St. Lucie Mets, he went 12-6 in 24 starts and was named the Florida State League Most Valuable Pitcher. He reached the AAA level in 2010, going 3-4 with a 7.11 ERA in 10 games with the Buffalo Bisons.
