Biographical Information[edit]
Dwayne Harvey was the brother of Bryan Harvey and uncle of Kris Harvey and Hunter Harvey. The Chicago White Sox took him in the 25th round of the 1988 amateur draft. He pitched 3 games that summer for the GCL White Sox, allowing 5 hits, 3 walks, 2 hit batsmen and 3 runs (1 earned) in 5 1/3 IP while striking out one; he went 1-0. He also played a game in the outfield, going 0 for 1. In the field, he had 1 putout (outfield) and 1 assist (pitcher).
