Biographical Information[edit]

Minor leaguer Dustin Lawley has played in the New York Mets minor league system since 2011 (through 2014). He was taken by the club in the 19th round of the 2011 amateur draft.

In his first season, he hit .284/.323/.510 with 10 home runs and 44 RBI in 60 games for the Kingsport Mets and Savannah Sand Gnats. In 2012, he hit .261/.333/.434 with 14 home runs, 66 RBI, 14 stolen bases and 35 doubles in 129 games for Savannah. For the St. Lucie Mets and Las Vegas 51s in 2013, Lawley hit .262/.314/.513 with 26 home runs, 96 RBI and 35 doubles in 128 games. He was named a Florida State League Mid- and Post-Season All-Star, a MiLB.com Organization All-Star and the FSL Most Valuable Player that year.
